Jenny Knott, the creative talent behind ‘Designer Cakes’ has been making celebration cakes for over twenty years. Her creations in competitions and for customers have gained her respect and acclaim both locally and nationally.

For 10 years she taught sugarcraft in Adult Education classes in Penarth, Dinas Powys and Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan but now concentrates solely on the business. Jenny holds the City and Guilds certificate in Sugarcraft and Design. Photos of her Wedding cakes have been published in ‘Wedding Cakes-A Design Source’, and ‘Hello’ magazine.

‘Designer Cakes’ was launched in 1998 and by maintaining a high standard in cake quality and decoration, and offering a friendly and professional service, the business quickly grew, gaining an excellent reputation with hotels and caterers in the South Wales area. Jenny is personally recommended by Miskin Manor - Llantrisant, St. David’s Hotel – Cardiff, Fonmon Castle near Barry and ‘Cardiff Catering’ to name but a few.

Jenny works from her home in Llancarfan, a small village in the Vale of Glamorgan, situated between Cardiff and Bridgend.
